Jaggesh rewarded

Jaggesh, comedy hero of Kannada cinema, had received a lot of criticism for shifting his loyalty to the ruling BJP government. Jaggesh, who was a Congress MLA, changed sides soon after the election results were declared and the BJP came into power in the state.

Now, by gaining a prime position as Vice President of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation  in the government, he has proved his shift in loyalty was indeed rewarded. But Jaggesh denies the accusation that he changed parties for material gains. "I have joined the BJP for no gains," he was quoted saying. He made it clear that the reason behind joining the Bharathiya Janata Party is that he was convinced that it is working for the development of the state. A few days ago, at the pre-launch party of is delayed film Kodagana Koli Nungitha, Jaggesh had said that he is a development driven personality. Now, the gains do not end there. He was allotted Rs. 50 crores to spend for the development of his constituency, Turuvekere in Tumkur district. Rumours are that he will be contesting for the Tumkur Parliamentary seat in the coming Lok Sabha elections with a BJP ticket.

Kodagana Koli Nungitha, in which he pairs with Pooja Gandhi, will be releasing on 22nd August.
