INOX is one of the prominent multiplex chains in India, owning 30 facilites that total to 109 screens and can seat around 31,000 people. The chain has its presence in 21 cities all over India. It has now become the largest multiplex network in India, thanks to a 43.28% stake that it bought in its rival muliplex chain Fame. Now, INOX owns 204 screens in 55 multiplexes, with a seating capacity of nearly 58,000! The entire deal amounted to a little over Rs. 66 crores.
