Idhu Kathirvelan Kaadhal is an upcoming movie, being directed by SR Prabhakar of Sundarapandian fame, featuring Udhayanidhi, Nayanthara and Santhanam in the lead roles. The shoot of the film kickstarts today in Chennai! Saranya Ponvannan, who played Udhayanidhi's mother in his debut film Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, will be seen playing his mother in this film as well. Harris Jayaraj has been roped in to compose music. The story of the film revolves around a jobless youngster, who goes to Madurai and falls in love with Pavithra. Nayanthara, who is in Hyderabad, currently shooting for a Telugu film, will join the unit in Chennai next week. Idhu Kathirvelan Kaadhal is being produced by Udhayanidhi himself under Red Giant Movies.
