Andhamuthu.

Staring debutant Kathir in the lead, Kanthervan was launched in AVM Studios on March 31. Story, screenplay and dialogues are also handled by the director. Renowned Malayalam music director Alex Paul will score music. Cinematography is by Anil K. Sekar, editing is by S.M.V. Subbu and art direction is by M.A. Ramadorai.

Director Salangai Durai promises this will be a different love story with a message, something which everyone can relate to. Kanthervan is all set to hit screens on August 15th, 2009.

Simultaneously, the director plans to start working on the Tamil remake of the superhit Telugu film Dhee (2007) starring Mohan Babu’s son Vishnu and Genelia. The director said the cast for the Tamil remake has not yet been finalized, but is confident of an early 2010 release.
