As is commonly known, Cricket and Cinema are the two C's that have the biggest following in India. It is quite common for cricketers to foray into Cinema but very rare for them to turn full-time actors and become heroes! In recent times, quite a few former cricketers are entering Tamil Cinema. First, it came to light that Irfan Pathan was playing the antagonist in Chiyaan Vikram's Cobra. Later, it was announced that Harbhajan Singh would be playing the antagonist to Comedy Superstar Santhanam, in his upcoming movie Dikkilona. Then the former Indian Cricket team off-spinner announced that he would be playing the lead in an upcoming movie, titled Friendship. This upcoming Tamil movie is being presented by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya, who earlier gave us the Bobby Simha and Madhoo starrer Agni Devi. This project is being bankrolled by Seantoa Studio and Cinemass Productions. This project was expected to hit the screens for this year's summer but got pushed due to COVID-19 pandemic. As far as Bhajji’s other movie Dikkiloona is concerned, the film is being directed by Karthik Yogi with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music. Anagha of Natpe Thunai fame will also be seen in this project which has Arunraja Kamaraj, Keerthi Vasan and Dinesh Subbarayan associated with it! Meanwhile, Santhanam's upcoming movie Biskoth, which is being directed by R Kannan, will have two heroines - Tara Alisha Berry and Swathi Muppala. This movie is said to be a romantic comedy. The makers had released the trailer of the film very recently. Ever since, cricketer Harbhajan Singh started playing for Chennai Super Kings, he is trying to make as much as of his Tweet in Tamil. Of course, he has an assistant to get the job done but still that intent to spread a south Indian language is praiseworthy. Now ahead of IPL 2020, Harbhajan Singh as released a video for his Tamil speaking fans. Yes, Bhajji for the first time speaks in Tamil, he shares a social message - “Vanakkam Chennai, come out of your house only for essential duties, and wear a mask.” Check out this cute video:
