Happy Birthday Meena!
Fluttering eyelids, a cherubic smile, an innocent face and her talent to play all kinds of roles exactly the way she is required are among the myriad reasons for her success. Yes, the dove-eyed sensation Meena is celebrating her birthday today.
Meena started her career in 1982 as a child artist in Nenjangal, starring Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role. Since then, she has appeared in over 45 films as a child artiste. Meena made her debut as heroine in Oru Pudhiya Kadhai in 1990, and the rest is history. Her immense talent fetched her myriad film offers that would normally go to more experienced actors. Meena, who has acted in all the four South Indian languages -- Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam -- is best known for her roles in Sethupathi IPS, Yejaman, Veera, Nattamai, Mutu, Rhythm and Villain.
Meena married Vidyasagar, a software engineer from Bengaluru, at Tirupathi on 12 July 2009. Their reception was held on 14 July 2009. The couple has one more reason to cheer these days. The reason – Meena is pregnant.
