Hannibal, the most hateful!
Sir Anthony Hopkins' Oscar winning part as Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs has been voted as the ‘Ultimate Movie Bad Guy’ in an online poll. The survey concludes that Hopkins' portrayal of the vile Hannibal was "a chilly, controlled, career performance" beat Star Wars villain Darth Vader, which came second on the list. The third position was taken by Goodfellas’ Tommy DeVito, played by Joe Pesci, followed by Anton Chigurh of No Country For Old Men. Rounding off the top five was Hans Gruber of Die Hard.
