He got into Kollywood as a music director, and took the industry by storm with his music! Then, there came reports that GV Prakash was turning hero! The latest buzz is that he has launched his own production company - GV Prakash Kumar Productions, and the first project under this banner will be with director Vikram Sugumaran, a former associate of Balu Mahendra, and he also happens to be a co-writer in the National Award winning Aadukalam. Newcomer Kathir and Malayali actress Oviya, will play the lead roles. Shooting has commenced in Theni, and the project is expected to be completed, soon. GV recently revealed on a social networking site that he has handed over the responsibility of this movie's music to one of his assistants, Ragunathan. He added that he was completely blown away by the script, and that is why he readily agreed to produce it.
