American actress Lindsey Erin Pearlman, best known for starring on shows like General Hospital and American Housewife, was found dead days after she had gone missing in Los Angeles. She was 43. Lindsey, who was last seen at noon last Sunday, was found on Friday morning after Los Angeles Police Department authorities received a call about a dead body that was discovered in a residential Hollywood neighborhood. The deceased person was later identified as Lindsey by the LA County coroner’s office, according to ABC 7. Investigators are trying to find out the cause of death and circumstances leading up to her disappearance. 

Lindsey's husband Vance Smith took to Instagram and wrote, "The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken. I will share more later, but I wanted to thank you to everyone for their love and efforts and ask you to respect the privacy of her family at this time." Lindsey's cousin Savannah Pearlman had earlier requested help from people and tweeted, "LA people, my cousin - Lindsey Pearlman - is missing. Her phone last pinged on Sunset blvd. My uncle is offering a reward that leads to finding her, please keep your eyes open. #MissingPerson #LA."

Likewise, filmmaker and actress Lynn Chen posted a photo remembering Lindsey and wrote, "This is how I will remember Lindsey Pearlman. Effortlessly beautiful and talented. Hilarious. Compassionate. Unapologetic. She lit up every room. She listened intently on stage and off. She so loved animals. I am sorry to her family and all the communities who deeply adored her." On the work front, Lindsey has also made appearances on the TV version of The Purge and Chicago Justice and has done theatre in her hometown Chicago.
