Genelia, John not married: Vipul Shah

The Genelia-John Abraham marriage at the shooting location of their upcoming film Force, produced by Vipul Shah, is the hot topic for discussion these days!

The whole trouble began during the shooting of a wedding scene in Force, where John and Genelia have been paired opposite each other. Instead of asking a junior artist to do the pandit's role in the wedding scene, a real pandit (Pandit Bhagwat Guruji) was called to perform the rituals; the priest didn’t realize that the camera was rolling and he conducted all the rituals by making both the actors follow all the rituals, right from wearing the mangalsutra to taking the saat pheras.

Though the priest later realized that he was conducting the wedding as part of a film’s shoot, he claimed that Genelia was married to actor John Abraham for real and even insisted that she cannot marry her beau Riteish Deshmukh, since she is already married to John. Reportedly, the priest is also keen on meeting the actress to advise her to drop her plans of marrying Riteish.

Meanwhile, producer Vipul Shah is angry with the pandit over creating such a ruckus to gain some publicity. "Countless weddings have been performed in Hindi Cinema, but this is the first time that I have come across someone so keen to be in the limelight that he can go far enough to claim to have married Genelia D'Souza off," Shah said in a statement.
