Geetha Krishna's trilingual

Director Geetha Krishna, who last directed Time (1997) with Prabhu Deva and Simran in the lead, is now back with a new film being made in three languages as Nimidangal in Tamil, Coffee Bar (also spelt Koffi Bar) in Telugu and Coffee Shop in Kannada.

Starring Shashank and Biyanka Desai in lead roles and Girish Karnad and Atul Kulakarni in key roles, the film has completed its entire shooting recently.

Ask what inspired him to make this movie, Krishna, known for his different style of narration, says: "As a nation, we face a lot of threats—communalism, terrorism and death being some—and we each respond differently to these issues. I have made this film based on my own response to these incidents. The film also talks about how today’s youth should use their brains to build a progressive career. I’m sure the film will revive our respect for the nation. The tagline for this movie, ‘Life is attitude’ is extremely apt."

Produced under the banner of Blue Fox Cinema, the film has music, dialogues and screenplay by the director himself. He has set music to six songs penned by Vanamali. Cinematography is by Murali. Expected to grace screens in August, the film will be distributed in the US by Adlabs.
