Emerging hero Karunaas
A stage singer, Karunaas entered films through Bala’s Nanda. Though he had to struggle in the beginning, Karunaas overcame all odds and today, he is one of the busiest comedians in Tamil cinema. Over the years,�most of us�have�forgotten that actor Karunass’ tryst with showbiz did not begin with cinema.
After the success of Dindugul Sarathy, Karunaas is�the hero in Ambasamuthiram Ambani, directed by B. Ramnath�with Navneeth Kaur as heroine; Karunaas has also composed the music. And now, the actor is getting ready to don the lead role in three films: Thanga Meengal (directed by Ram of Kattradhu Thamizh fame), remake of Malayalam super hit Yaanai Vaal Modhiram and an untitled flick directed by Ramnath.
