After the successful comedy treat Soodhu Kavvum, director Nalan Kumarasamy turns producer with the upcoming movie Uriyadi. The action thriller is written and directed by Vijay Kumar, who gained attention through the popular television programme Naalaya Iyakunar. Reportedly, the director has tried a period film packed with thrills. The film follows the lives of a bunch of youngsters in the 1990's. The film's 40 seconds teaser was released on Youtube today by Sony Music, and in no time the teaser has begun trending on the internet.
The audio and trailer release dates are yet to be officially announced. Interestingly, an independent music band named 'Masala Coffee' has composed three tracks for the film. The film will be released under the banner of Pinrom Pictures, which is a joint venture from Nalan and Sameer Bharat Ram. Let's wait and watch if the film will live up to the banner's name.
