After a gap of eight years, director Mahendran is all set to return to the film industry. Earlier, he made an announcement that he would be collaborating with music director Ilaiyaraaja for his next project, which will begin from July 2014. The title of the project is yet to be known. The movie's cast comprises of notable actors including Prakashraj, Simran and Prathap Pothen. Kasi Viswanathan would be the editor and Sanjay would be the man behind the camera. Director Mahendran is famously known for movies like Mullum Malarum, Uthiripookal, and Nenjathai Killathe which created a big impact in the Tamil film industry.
