Remember the resounding success that followed�Cyanide Kuppi that dealt with the Rajiv Gandhi assassination? Ramesh, maker of that movie, is back with his next movie. Titled Kavalar Kudiyiruppu that translates to Police Quarters, the movie is not just one more police story. Keeping the Babri Masjid riots as the backdrop, the movie tells the touching love story of a two youngsters in the police quarters at the time of the riots. How this catastrophic event affects their romance is what the story is about, besides narrating events that lead up to the communal trouble. Produced by Ramesh himself, music is by James Vasanthan. The lead cast are newcomers; actress Saranya plays an important supporting role in this movie, which is being released in Tamil and Kannada simultaneously.
