Crime thrillers have become the go-to genre in Tamil cinema after the horror season came to a big halt. Maayavan is pretty much everything one would expect in a cop story with a super natural twist to it.

Director CV Kumar who happens to be the producer of films like Soodhu Kavvum and Pizza has directed Maayavan which has Sundeep, Daniel Balaji, Jackie Sheroff and Lavanya in the lead. The film is set for release on December 14th.
