"Mellisai Mannar" MS Viswanathan has composed tunes for all the south Indian languages, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Aside from that he's also acted in a few films and sung songs for other music directors. Speaking of the same, his "Vidaikodu Engal Naade..." song in Kannathil Muthamittal never fails to stirs our emotions. His demise was saddening for the entire Tamil film industry. On his 4th year death anniversary, Lakshman Sruthi Musicals are organizing a program titled, "Ninaithaly Inikkum", which will be held at Nehru indoor stadium on 7th July.

The program will feature featuring Padmabhushan P Suseela, Kalaimamani L R Eswari, Kalaimamani Vani Jairam, Kalimamani Sankar Ganesh, Padmabhushan Dr.SP Balasubramaniam, TMS Selvakumar, Srinivas, Madhu Balakrishnan, Mukesh, Chinni Jayanth, Malathi Lakshman, Kalpana Raghavendar, Ganga, Mahathi, Anitha Karthikeyan, Priya Himesh, Priyanka and Varsha.

He has composed tunes for over 1700 films, cutting across all genres. Be it rural subject, an urban based one or on a foreign soil he has lent his tunes for possibly all situations in the movies. MSV was honored as "Mellisai Mannar" by "Chevalier" Shivaji Ganesan, lived as an exemplary role model as that of a Melody King.
