Commemorative stamp on Dr. Rajkumar
A five rupees stamp on the legend actor Dr. Rajkumar is to be released on Kannada Rajyotsava Day (November 1) by the Postal department. Four lakh stamps carrying the picture of the Dada Saheb Phalke award winner will be released in the first lot by the Postal department.
Though the norm is to issue a stamp 10 years or more after the death of the person being commemorated, the Ministry bent the rules to honour the deeds of an actor with over 200 films behind him.
