Comedy track is my creation: Kannan
Kandein Kadhalai produced by G. Dhananjayam of Moser Baer is slated for an October 30 release.
Keeping his fingers crossed, director Kannan said that though the movie is a faithful remake of the Hindi hit Jab We Met, he has made cosmetic changes for Tamil audiences.
“Comedy had no place in the original but you will find Santhanam right through the film donning the role of the girl's uncle. I will count it as my victory if the audience could not relate the happenings to the Hindi hit. Jab We Met has been seen by all, thanks to the repeated telecast in all channels. There will be the inevitable comparison but that is something I am prepared for,” says Kannan.
Kandein Kadhalai is being released by Sun Pictures.
