Born near Kodad in the Suryapet district of Telangana State, on December 30th 1968, Venu Madhav began his career as a mimicry artiste, before getting a chance to star in movies with the 1996 movie Sampradayam. Using his extraordinary talent and with dedicated hard work, he soon got big breaks in the industry and in a career spanning nearly two decades, he starred in over 600 movies. In recent times, it was reported that his health was critical after suffering from multiple ailments. This talented actor breathed his last at Yashoda Hospital, in Hyderabad, at 12:21 pm on Wednesday (September 25).

Venu Madhav's last on screen appearance was in the 2016 movie Dr. Paramanandaiah's Students. Despite suffering from many health issues like liver cirrhosis, diabetes, high blood pressure and also kidney ailments, Venu wanted to be actively involved in politics and even filed nominations to contest in last year's Assembly elections, from Kodad. Before entering movies, he was a telephone operator for the erstwhile Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and is said to have even been close with the legendary NTR.
Movies like Tholi Prema, Suswagatham, Thamudu, Sye, Dil and Master, are some of the most celebrated movies of Venu Madhav's career. He was awarded the Nandi Award for Best Male Comedian for his work in the 2006 movie Lakshmi. Venu Madhav is survived by his wife, two children and four siblings. We pray for his soul to rest in peace and extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family...
