One of the most interesting films coming out in theatres this year, the much-awaited Jayam Ravi starrer, Comali, was announced for an August 15 release not long back. Newcomer Pradeep Ranganathan makes his directorial debut with the comedy drama film, which includes music by Hiphop Tamizha as three songs released so far - ‘Paisa Note’, ‘Yaaru Comali’ and ‘Oliyum Oliyum’ have turned out to be hits among the fans. With promotions already in full swing, sources close to us have now revealed that the Comali trailer will be released towards the end of this week on August 3.

Produced under Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh’s Vels Films International banner, Comali will see Kajal Aggarwal as the main heroine followed by Samyuktha Hegde as the second female lead along with popular Kannada and Bollywood actress Kavita Radheshyam and Yogi Babu in supporting roles. Comali set fans talking after the makers kicked off promotions by releasing 9 posters of Jayam Ravi in different looks, among which only 4 looks will appear in the film as per director Pradeep Ranganathan. The team had also taken extensive measures to erect a huge set that resembled the 2015 flood-affected Madippakkam area in Chennai with the shooting spot pictures going to trend on social media a few days back.
