Colonial Cousins busier than ever

The Colonial Cousins comprisesLeslie Lewis and Hariharan. It was during Lewis's jingles career that the idea of Colonial Cousins was conceived.

And now, after several years and many albums, the Colonial Cousins still continue to have a fan base which is only growing. Many indi-pop groups have come and gone but the Colonial Cousins have remained relevant, mainly because of their ability to re-invent themselves.

When the eve of the release of Modhi Vilayadu CDs in Chennai, the Cousins were present to interact with fans and music enthusiasts alike at Spencers Plaza. The album has been well-received, and the duo are upbeat about their prospects in Kollywood.

They are also eager to compose music for Telugu films too, as they are confident they have the ability to churn out peppy numbers which appeal to the youth audience.

We at Galatta wish the Colonial Cousins the very best of luck as they are now being flooded with offers to compose for many more films!
