CM's praise for Sarath
Chief Minister Kalaignar Karunanidhi has a strong liking for history-linked subjects. 'Sirayil Pootha Sinnamalar', the popular novel he penned while in jail, is considered a masterpiece.
Veteran actor Sarathkumar's day was made when CM poured encomiums on him after watching a special show of the Tamil version of Pazhassi Raja at Four Frames Preview Theatre on Wednesday.
"A milestone performance" was how the CM summed up the efforts of Sarath.
Pazhassi Raja (Tamil) is due for release on November 13; the Malayalam version has been released and created records already with its popularity and collections.
