Chakravarthy to direct Nitin

Actor-director J.D. Chakravarthy has finalized upcoming Telugu action hero Nitin as�hero for his next directorial venture scheduled to commence in June. More details about this film, including its title, heroine, other cast and crew, are yet to be announced. (Incidentally,�Chakravarthy is being cast as a villain in Arya's forthcoming Tamil film Sarvam directed by Vishnuvardhan),

J.D. Chakravarthy's last directorial venture was Homam, starring Jagapathi Babu, Mamta Mohandas and Mahesh Manjrekar. The director himself appeared in a supporting role in this film, which fetched average revenues in 2008.

Nitin is currently busy with Mirchi opposite�Ileana. Directed by Paruchuri Murali and produced by G. Venkataramana under the banner of Sri Spectra Media, Mirchi is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. Nitin and Ileana come together for the first time with this film, which has already completed more than 60% of its shooting. Nitin is presented in an action-oriented role with some lover boy features, while Ileana has a very special performance-oriented role.
