Bruce Willis will countersue producers

Executives at Foresight Unlimited, Signature Entertainment Group and Three Stories Productions filed a suit against actor Bruce Willis, stating that he signed a $200,000 deal to direct Three Stories About Joan with Owen Wilson and Camilla Belle in the lead but quit midway. In response to this, Bruce has announcedhe is going to countersue them, with his lawyer dubbing the accusations "absurd" and "frivolous".

Bruce's lawyer Marty Singer says the case against the actor is without foundation, and adds that the executives suing Bruce did not deposit any money into Bruce's escrow account before the film started. Marty says, "The claims are absurd and without merit. Why would you render services knowing you're not getting paid? I've been practising over thirty years and I can't think of a more frivolous lawsuit that I've ever seen." The countersuit will be filed shortly.
