The recent announcement by the CBFC (Central Board for Film Certification), that no A-rated movies should be telecast on TV, has created quite a buzz! Off late, a lot of movies have been released with an A certification, and Billa 2 is one among them!

The rule is that, any A-rated movie must first remove all objectionable scenes, and get another certificate from CBFC, that it is suitable for TV broadcasting, before being aired. But, due to this recent directive from the CBFC, many producers and TV channels came in for a huge shock!

We hear that a satellite channel has obtained the TV telecast rights of Billa 2 for Rs. 6.5 Crores, and now they are in a quandary, because of this CBFC order. This makes the TV broadcast of Billa 2, doubtful! Sale of satellite rights was one of the major sources of recovering their investments for the producers, but this issue has now come as a blow to that. Will Billa 2 be seen on television? We'll just have to wait and see!
