Bhumika, who made her debut in Tamil with Badri, might not be signing any Tamil films as of now. But will be seen in the Tamil dubbed version of the Telugu movie Collector Gari Bharya. The movie will be released in Tamil as Penn Adimai Illai. The film is directed by Kripukar Reddy starring Bhumika and Prakashraj as a couple, also featuring Brahamanadam in an important role. The movie is about how a woman loses her identity post marriage in this male dominated society.

According to sources, Prakashraj plays the role of an honest collector, but doesn’t treat his wife Bhumika as his equal. He is with the mind-set that a woman’s place is in the kitchen and hurts his wife at various instances. How Bhumika changes his perspective about women is the essence of the story.
