Bharathi became popular in Kollywood with her exceptional performance as a sex worker in Ammuvagiya Naan starring Parthibhan. After this exciting tale of a commercial sex worker, directed by Padmamagan, there was a sea of opportunity for Bharathi in Kollywood.
Unexpectedly, she married recently and it was initially thought that she would bid adieu to acting once she tied the knot. But she seems to have decided otherwise. Bharathi says that she has decided to continue her career as an actress. She has reportedly accepted a few movies and is busy with projects in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The sudden marriage between Bharathi and her manager Murugan was big news in Kollywood two weeks ago. Bharathi, who was in love with Murugan, secretly tied the knot on July 11 at a temple in Thiruverkadu.
