Batman Kilmer as governor?
Popular for his Batman portrayal in Batman Forever, Val Kilmer is now getting set for some social service in real life. He is running for office as New Mexico's next governor.
Val made his political aspirations public in November last year and added that he was going to discuss the same with Arnold Schwarzenegger, who made the transition pretty well. And now, Val admits he has gained confidence because the response and support to his announcement has been quite overwhelming and encouraging. "It's not a job I ever thought about. But I have a lot of affection for my state. Support for my running has been bizarre and massive. Current Governor Bill Richardson said he thought I'd make a good governor. He can't really come out and support me while he's in office, can he?" mused the political aspirant.
