Bala's long awaited Paradesi is all set to hit screens on March 1. The film has Adharvaa and Vedika in lead roles. Based on an English novel Red Tea (by Paul Harris Daniel), the trailer of the film has upped the hype factor. This realistic drama narrates the real suffering of plantation workers in southern India. Adharvaa has reportedly shed 10 kilos for this film and we also hear that Bala has roped in more than 200 junior artists for this family tale. The film is shot in Salur, Manamadurai in Sivagangai district, Munnar, Talaiyar in Kerala, and the forest areas in Theni district. It is also heard that Dhansika survived with mere water and fruit juice for four consecutive days, to get her act right in the climax scene.
