After director Siva confirmed that Vivegam is coming on August 24th, the film industry breathed a sigh of relief and wanted to release multiple movies at once making use of the three week period they get before the big budget release.

Movies including Maayavan directed by CV Kumar, Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam featuring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Kurangu Bommai, Thappu Thanda and Taramani will be released on August 11th according to the update. The films may drop out of the race at the last minute or new movies may be added to the list of 5 films making it really crowded to allocate enough theaters.
