Asin to be banned from South Indian films?
South Indian beauty Asin, who is currently shooting with Salman Khan in Sri Lanka for Anees Bazmee's Ready (remake of the Telugu hit Ready) is likely to face a ban on acting in Tamil films. A decision on her ban is expected to be made by the South Indian Film Artistes' Association in a couple of days.
Earlier, the SIFCC has also decided to boycott Bollywood actors and technicians who performed at the IIFA awards in Sri Lanka, following allegations of genocide against Lankan Tamils during the war against the LTTE and the continuing discrimination against them.
Now it would be interesting to see how SIFCC reacts to Asin's Kollywood film Kaavalkaran with Vijay!
