The director has shared a special statement as the movie reached a huge milestone in its theatrical run. He began the note by talking about how he knew the thriller film would succeed. He stated, "I had sleepless nights leading up to the release of Por Thozhil. I knew we made a good film, But I really wanted the film to succeed. It was not for me."

Vignesh Raja then spoke about the producers of Por Thozhil, and he added, "But for my producer's trust in me and the financing risk they were taking," He then went on to speak about the cast and crew and said they had put in an "insane amount of effort" for several months. He also said he wanted the film to succeed because of the sacrifices of their family members. "I wanted Por Thozhil to amount to something to show for, But what unfolded is nothing short of a miracle." The director then added that today marks the 50th day of the theatrical run of the film and that it has been declared a box office blockbuster, and he dedicated it to the team. He then thanked the journalists, critics and influences and the audience "for loving the film, winning the film and also for not letting out spoiler - Por Thozil is truly yours".
