Ashley credits parents for success
Ashley Olsen attributes her success and that of her twin Mary-Kate Olsen to the proper grooming by her business-savvy parents. She says they even let the twins sneak into meetings at a young age.
The twins began their showbiz career when they were just nine months old for the hit TV series Full House, before launching a media empire with the start of their company Dualstar in 1993. Ashley says, "There's a very specific language with financing and things like that. We definitely have a different perspective on running a business."
Forbes magazine ranked Ashley and Mary-Kate amongst the world's richest women in entertainment, earning an estimated $100 million last year.
