Puthagam is an upcoming movie which marks the debut of television actor/anchor Vijay Adhiraj as a director. The film also serves as the launch pad for Arya’s brother Satya, who plays the lead role along with Rakul Preet Singh.

Arya, who watched the movie recently is all praises for his brother. Excited Arya said,” I stepped into acting with UllamKetkume and have done 15 movies so far, but have never excelled in fight scenes as much as Satya has. I will try to meet his standards. In a stunt scene, I was overwhelmed to see my brother punch the villain. I have never given any acting tips to Satya,Puthagam is completely his own effort.”

James Vasanthan has scored the music for Puthagam while the lyrics have been penned by Na. Muthukumar. Sanjay Barathi, son of veteran actor/director Santhana Barathi along with Vignesh Vijaykumar of Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppudi fame play pivotal roles in the movie. The movie has been produced by Ram Pictures Private Limited. Puthagam is expected to hit screens soon.
