Reputed film distributor and financier GN Anbu Chezhiyan's daughter Sushmita has tied the knot with Sharan, the son of the Director of Sun IAS Academy, in Chennai on Monday in a grand wedding ceremony. Several big names from the Tamil industry and Indian cinema graced the happy occasion, with photos and visuals from the gala family event now taking social media by storm. Among the big names at the resplendent wedding was 'Superstar' Rajinikanth, 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan, actors Prabhu and Manobala, producers Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Boney Kapoor, including other notable personalities from all walks of life, who wished Sushmita and Sharan on their new journey together.

Rajinikanth, as always, kept his style intact in his trademark traditional look in a white kurta and a veshti for Sushmita and Sharan's wedding, while Kamal Haasan and Boney Kapoor too made heads turn in their cream ethnic wear. Pictures and videos from Anbu Chezhiyan's daughter's marriage also show each of them blessing the couple and wish them the best for their future together, with the press and the paparazzi keeping a close look at the festivities throughout the course of the ceremony.

Both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are currently attached to big ventures, with the former recently announced to be collaborating once again with Sun Pictures for the tentatively Thalaivar 169 and this time under Nelson Dilipkumar's direction, while the latter issued a statement last week that he was quitting Bigg Boss Ultimate to complete the shooting of his upcoming film, Vikram, alongside 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Likewise, Boney Kapoor's Valimai starring Ajith Kumar under H. Vinoth's direction is set to finally open in theatres on February 24 after release delays due to the pandemic. He had also announced AK 61 with the actor and the filmmaker to be in the early stages of pre-production. Kalaipuli S. Thanu, on the other hand, is producing the much-awaited Naane Varuven, which is filming with Dhanush in the lead role and under Selvaraghavan's direction, including the highly-anticipated Suriya-starrer Vaadivaasal to be directed by Vetri Maaran.
