Popular South Indian actress Ananya, who was recently engaged to Anjaneyan, a businessman from Thrissur, is in a complete shock after she came to know that Anjaneyan had already been married earlier and also fathered two children.
In this strange turn of events, Ananya's father Gopalakrishnan approached the Perumbavoor Police station and lodged a complaint in this matter. Upon investigation, Police officials revealed that Anjaneyan married a lady in 2008 and the couple filed for mutual divorce sometime later. However, the divorce proceedings are still pending in court.
Meanwhile, Gopalakrishnan has denied that he had filed the complaint at the police station. However, grapevine has it that Ananya was well aware of Anjaneyan's first marriage, and that it's her family that was shocked on learning the news. It is said that Ananya is now under house arrest.
