Thangar Bachchan’s Ammavin Kaipesi was all set to release for Diwali. While there are just two days left for the release, some reports state that the Chennai Civil Court has stayed the release of the movie till 19th November. According to sources, the reason cited behind this shocking news is that someone has filed a case against the distributors of the movie, Maxpro Entertainers, for alleged money cheating.

Ammavin Kaipesi is a Tamil family drama starring Shathnu Bhagyaraj and Iniya in lead roles. The story revolves around a mother who is forced to stay away from her nine children and the only way she can stay in touch with them is through her mobile phone. So she starts considering her mobile phone to be her children’s representative and becomes too possessive about it. However, no official announcement regarding the stay order has been made.
