The latest update about the film is that the famous international company - EROS International, has acquired the film and is releasing the film worldwide on February 28. D. Amara is co-produced by S. Sheik Muhammad. Reportedly, EROS International has bagged another biggie, Kochadaiyaan, which is slated to release in April.
