Remakes are the new trend in the film industry currently. As already known, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Avani are all set to appear in the remake of Tamil movie Muni 2: Kanchana. The remake has been titled Laxmmi Bomb and has piqued a lot of interest ever since it was first announced. The film went on floors on 27 April and Akshay soon unveiled the first look which was very well-received by the audience. In the first look we saw Akshay sporting a kohl-eyed look and needless to say we were very impressed. It was announced that the film would be releasing on June 5th, 2020. Now, reports state that the film’s release date has been changed to Eid 2020, which is May 22!
Choreographer-turned-director Raghava Lawrence is helming this Hindi remake and with this date change, chances are that they might clash with a Salman Khan film! Earlier Salman’s Inshallah was supposed to release on Eid but Sanjay Leela Bhansali informed that the production house will not be going further with it. Soon after this Salman assured his fans that they will surely see him on Eid 2020. Many are speculating that Kick 2 might release on that day now!
Laxmmi Bomb is produced by Cape of Good Films in association with Tusshar Entertainment House and Shabinaa Entertainment. With the preponement of the release date, we are sure Akshay’s fans are mighty happy!
