Aishwarya Rajesh is celebrating her birthday today, (January 10) and wishes have been pouring in for the talented actress from various quarters. Marking her birthday, a new project has been announced. Yes! Aishwarya Rajesh’s next Tamil film, as the lead, is titled Driver Jamuna and it will be directed by Kinslin who earlier made his directorial debut with Vathikuchi. This film will be produced by SP Chowthari under the banner of 18 Reels. The title look poster of the film has been released and it looks quite promising. Ghibran will score music for Driver Jamuna. Aishwarya Rajesh took to her official Twitter page to make this announcement.

Sharing the title look poster and a picture with director Kinslin and producer Chowthari, Aishwarya tweeted, “On this spl day announcing .....My next film titled as #DriverJamuna, Directed by #Vathikuchi fame @kinslin Bankrolled by @SPChowdhary3 of #18Reels. A @GhibranOfficial musical @thinkmusicindia @proyuvraaj”. Details regarding the commencement of the shoot and the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be known and we will update you about it in the coming days.

Aishwarya Rajesh was last seen in the critically acclaimed drama, Ka Pae Ranasingam, directed by P Virumandi. Aishwarya’s performance as Ariyanachi received highly positive reviews from the audience and it turned out to be one of the important films in her career. The young talent will be looking forward to maintaining the momentum with her upcoming lineup of films, as well. Her next release is expected to be Boomika which is her 25th film. Boomika, which is touted to be a horror thriller, is directed by Rathindran R Prasad and produced by Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Creations. The film is completed and ready for release and we can expect exciting announcements from the makers very soon.

She is also acting in an upcoming crime thriller titled Thittam Irandu, directed by Vignesh Karthick who rose to fame after the success of his short film, 'Yours Shamefully'. Aishwarya is also awaiting the release of the long delayed Chiyaan Vikram starrer, Dhruva Natchathiram, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. In Telugu, Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen in Nani's next outing, Tuck Jagadish, directed by Shiva Nirvana. Tuck Jagadish is scheduled to hit the screens on April 16.
