Adlabs Cinemas becomes Big Cinemas

Rahul, who became famous as Tyson in the college flick, Happy Days, did an encore in Rainbow. He has now signed up for a science-fiction movie which is being produced by Reliance ADAG group’s Big Movies.

The remaining cast and crew are yet to be finalized though it is speculated that Navdeep or Nani (Ashta Chemma) will be the second male lead in this untitled sci-fi flick. The hunt is on for a suitable heroine. Kiran, who has worked with directors Trivikram Srinivas and Dasrath, will be making his directorial debut.

In the meantime, Reliance ADAG group, the entertainment arm of the Anil Ambani-owned Reliance conglomerate, is bringing all its various businesses under Big Entertainments. The production house is Big Movies, DVD rental chain has become Big Flicks, FM radio is Big FM, the music label is Big Music, the DTH service is Big TV and now Adlabs Cinemas, which Big Entertainment had acquired from Manmohan Shetty long ago, will now be renamed Big Cinemas.

The movie to be produced by Big Cinemas is expected to be launched sometime during November or December.
