Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has tested positive for the Covid 19 virus and she took to her official social media pages to share this news with her followers and well wishers. Varalaxmi shared the news through a video in which she said she has tested positive for the infection, requesting the people who came in close contact with her in the recent days to get tested. She also shared an awareness message emphasizing that Covid is not over, asking everyone to stay precautionary and safe.

Sharing the video on her official Twitter page, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar tweeted, "Covid Positive.. inspite of all precautions.. actors plz start insisting on masking up the entire crew bcos we as actors cant wear masks.. Those who have met me or been in contact with me plz watch out for symptoms and get checked.. Plz be careful and mask up.. covid is still here". The fans and well wishers have been wishing Varalaxmi to recover well and bounce back in action soon. Well, this incident also tells us that Covid is still out there and it is important for all of us to wear masks and stay protected from all kinds of infections.
