Actors and remuneration
The whole world is engrossed in layoffs, bailouts and worries about the economy. Now even producers in Sandalwood are coming out saying that times are bad for them. But the only people who either don’t care or pretend that they don’t get affected are our stars.
The producers themselves have started requesting the artists that if they cut the remuneration it will be helpful for them. Given�that the global economy is down and producers are having a tough time getting their�costs back, do you think it is high�time our actors reduced their remuneration?
