Informing that the decision has been taken in the best interest of the fans who were attending the 'Marakkuma Nenjam' concert and their health and safety, A. R. Rahman posted on X, "My Dearest Friends …Owing to adverse weather conditions and persistent rains, it is only made advisable for the health and safety of my beloved fans and friends to reschedule the concert to the nearest best date, with the guidance of the statutory authorities. More details on the new date will follow soon!EPI (sic)".

Tickets for A. R. Rahman's 'Marakkuma Nenjam' concert announced to be held at the Adityaram Palace on the outskirts of Chennai got sold out like hotcakes 'Marakkuma Nenjam' after bookings opened, with many fans putting up requests for more passes on social media. On the film front, A. R. Rahman has several big projects in Tamil lined up starting with Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan scheduled for a Diwali release this November, followed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth's Lal Salaam, with Kamal Haasan's KH 234 under Mani Ratnam's direction and Jayam Ravi's Genie being announced sometime back.
