Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital win the Overall Championship in the MIDAS 2022
Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital (MADC) has garnered the reputation over the years for being one among the leading premier dental institutions in India offering an extensive curriculum to its students and a holistic learning environment for the overall development of budding dental professionals. Starting in 1990, the MADC has been affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and has since made a steadfast and exponential growth to become one of India’s top-ranking dental colleges. In 2004, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital was declared to be a constituent college of MAHER (Deemed to be University) by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, under section 3 of the UGC act of 1956. In 2006, the MADC awarded an ‘A’ grade by NAAC, for the first time ever, and the institute has continually aimed to elevate the standard of dental education on par with global standards and to perform high-quality dental research.
Among the latest big achievements, the students of Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital recently won the Overall Championship in the MIDAS 2022 Tamil Nadu State Students Conference – A Scientific Sports and Cultural Extravaganza organized by IDA Madras Branch. Meenakshi Ammal Dental College secured the top place and emerged winner in the Academics and Cultural Events while also coming in at third position in the Sports Events competing against 20 dental colleges that had participated.
