Shah Rukh Khan on Saturday, November 5, conducted an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Twitter with fans and answered their queries, which also included one about a collaboration with 'Thalapathy' Vijay. Using the #AskSRK hashtag, one fan expressed his happiness about seeing the actors together in photos, while also asking the 'Bollywood Baadshah' about his thoughts about the Tamil superstar. Both Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay had met sometime back at a popular film studio in Chennai where their films, Jawan in Hindi and Varisu in Tamil, were being shot. Addressing the fan's question, SRK answered about Vijay saying, "He is really cool guy…films happen when they happen so…if they have to they will." Below is the tweet:

Back in September, blockbuster Tamil film director Atlee took social media by storm by posting a picture of himself alongside Shah Rukh Khan and 'Thalapathy' Vijay, which had created a lot of speculation about the two superstars sharing screen space in Jawan. The upcoming Bollywood biggie will mark the directorial debut of Atlee in Hindi, with the film also set to introduce 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara, 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, and several other Tamil cinema's technical talents to the North Indian audiences. Jawan produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment banner will see him facing 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who is playing the antagonist in the film, which will be out in theatres worldwide from June 2, 2023, and also come as a pan-Indian release across 5 languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Apart from Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan will kick off 2023 with the highly-anticipated action-thriller Pathaan releasing in theatres worldwide on January 25, which has him appearing alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He will also be seen in Dunki directed by acclaimed blockbuster filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and has leading Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu playing the female lead. Vijay, on the other hand, is set to be seen on the big screen in Varisu scheduled for a big Pongal release in January. The Tamil actor is also expected to begin filming for the tentatively titled Thalapathy 67 soon and has him reuniting with Lokesh Kanagaraj after their Master in 2021.
