Apart from Zarina's co-stars on Kumkum Bhagya and its spin-off Kundali Bhagya, many others expressed their shock and grief upon hearing the news of her demise. A dejected Shraddha Arya wrote, "Really Shocking & extremely sad," while Supriya Shukla, Vin Rana and Ankit Mohan offered their condolences and prayers for her departed soul.

Anurag Sharma, another popular TV actor, remembered Zarina saying she was full of life at all times and quoted, "Yes, its true. The news is very shocking. She was a sweet lady, full of life. Even at this age she was so energetic. I have never seen someone like her, she was a lovely person. I think she worked as a stunt woman at the beginning of her career and she was exactly like a fighter in real life. I shot with her last month and we had a good time. She was all fine, but suddenly this news came today on our group. I pray her soul rests in peace."
