A household name across Tamil Nadu, model turned actress Yashika Aannand became a youth sensation after participating in the second season of the hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss, last year. Yashika has done notable roles among which include the smash hit adult comedy, Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu, while also making a short and brief appearance in Vijay Deverakonda’s political drama film, NOTA. As for her upcoming projects, she will be seen in a special appearance in Arav’s Raja Bheema followed by roles in Odavum Mudiyathu Oliyavum Mudiyathu and an untitled film opposite Mahat Raghavendra. That said, her first full-length role will be in the upcoming comedy adventure thriller, Zombie, hitting screens soon with the film’s trailer now out.
Produced by S3 Pictures, Zombie will see Yashika Aannand playing the role of a doctor alongside Yogi Babu, YouTube stars Gopi and Sudhakar of Parithabangal fame under Bhuvan Nullan's direction featuring music by Premgi Amaren. Zombie is said to be the second film in the said genre after Jayam Ravi’s Miruthan released in early 2016.
