At the audio launch of Vikram's Iru Mugan, Sivakarthikeyan revealed few interesting tidbits about his rapport with Vikram. "He is mu guruji, role model, motivator, and inspiration. Be it the nurse look in Remo or the heavy makeup sessions, I get inspired by him. My efforts are nothing when I see his hard work and dedication; infact, Vikram is the first person to motivate me to pursue a career in acting. When I approached him for a small appearance in Marina, he instantly agreed. I get inspired when I see his works, he is a real role model," Sivakarthikeyan said at the event.
